Motel Murders

The Missoula Police Department has issued a press release stating that an additional person of interest is being sought in connection with the double homicide that occurred in the Mountain Valley Inn last Friday.

18 year-old Preston Rossbach appeared in Missoula District Court on Tuesday charged with murdering two people at a Missoula motel.

18 year-old Preston Rossbach appeared before District Court Judge Karen Townsend on Tuesday morning, charged with the shooting deaths of two people and the wounding of another at the Mountain Valley Motel early Friday morning.

Two men have been charged with two counts of deliberate homicide in an early Friday morning incident at a downtown motel. The victims have been identified.

The Missoula County Attorney’s office has released charging documents against 27 year-old Jonathan Whitworth stating he is allegedly responsible for the shooting deaths of Jason Flink and Megan McLaughlin.

27 year-old Jonathan Whitworth was arrested and booked into the Missoula County Jail on $250,000 bond on Sunday afternoon after an intense manhunt that started early Friday morning when two people were found shot to death inside the Mountain View Hotel early Friday morning.
