Residents in the Big Sky High School area called 9-1-1 Monday night at about 11:30 p.m. to report shots fired.

UPDATE : 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 29 Samantha French, 20, who was reported missing Sunday evening after becoming separated from her rafting party on Sunday night was found safe Monday morning at her apartment.

Sometime between October of 2012 and July of 2013, someone broke into a home in Seeley Lake and stole several rifles and shotguns, along with numerous boxes of ammunition.

A man who was floating the Clark Fork River on Sunday afternoon had both his legs broken when a young man jumped off the Bandmann Bridge and landed on him.

A transient from Philipsburg has been identified as the man who stood in the path of an oncoming Montana Rail Link train Monday evening near the Deer Creek shooting range, and was struck and killed without attempting to get out of the way.
