On Tuesday afternoon 20 to 30 high tech firms in western Montana gathered at the new Missoula College to learn about an apprenticeship program designed to help them gain new employees.
For students wishing to attend Missoula College, officials are inviting them to attend a free application assistance event on Wednesday, August 8, according to Emily Ferguson-Steger, Director of Undergraduate Admissions.
Following the initial discussion that began on Tuesday regarding the recommended changes at UM’s Mountain Campus, President Bodnar announced a new effort to redesign the Missoula College and the Lifelong Learning opportunities.
The overall headcount enrollment at the University of Montana for spring semester is down 5.4 percent when compared to spring semester 2017. The total spring headcount is 10,987, which is 628 fewer students than a year ago.
The $30 million dream that eventually became the Missoula College was officially opened on Friday with a Salish prayer and blessing, and a ribbon cutting by Governor Steve Bullock.
