Gasoline prices in Missoula have declined again this week, falling about two cents and currently averaging at $2.54 per gallon. "Wild cards" such as the attack in Iran could affect gas prices in the future.

The seasons are changing and so are the prices at the pumps.

Gas prices nationwide dipped a little during the third full week of June, but the same can't be said for prices in Montana.

The conventional wisdom says 'If 10% ethanol is good, then 15% must be better'! Not so, says a noted petroleum analyst.

For many years, gas prices have bottomed out during the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. In 2012, however, Thanksgiving gas prices hit a record high nationwide while prices in Montana rose .7 cents over the week.
