Florida School Shooting

Nearly 100 children and parents gathered on the sidewalk outside Paxson Elementary School on Wednesday, joining thousands of others across the country to speak out against gun violence in schools

Administrators at Missoula School District One are aware of the national school walkouts on March 14 and April 20, and have created procedures to deal with the situation.

Following the murder of 17 students at a Florida high school on Wednesday, the Montana Superintendent of Public Instruction reached out to her counterpart in Florida with a message of prayer and support.

There has been another school shooting, this time at the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
