Bad weather, machine breakdowns and long lines did not keep the Missoula County Election Center from successfully carrying out the 2018 midterm election on Tuesday
Missoula County Sheriff TJ McDermott celebrated along with his family and colleagues in the sheriff’s office on Tuesday night as he defeated independent Travis Wafstet to win his second term in office.
The race for the U.S. Senate in Montana is still too close to call, with Matt Rosendale clinging to a 49 to 48 percent lead over Jon Tester as of 5:00 a.m.
Election results will be sent off to the Secretary of State's office throughout the night tonight, November 6, with initial results appearing just after 8:00 p.m.
