Detective Chris Shermer

A Florence man, Matthew Ray Tack, 29, was charged in Missoula Justice Court on Monday, November 4, with sexual abuse of children and possession of child pornography, after dozens of explicit images and videos of a 13 year-old girl were found on his computer.

A $250,000 civil lawsuit has been filed by sex crimes investigator Detective Christopher Shermer of the Missoula Police Department.

Detective Chris Shermer spends 40 hours a week trying to protect children and pursue criminals who harm them through the internet.
