With the 2018 election season looming and the 2020 presidential race on the horizon, Montanans ca be assured of not receiving those annoying robocalls from politicians and advocacy groups.

Following the U.S. District Court decision on Tuesday that struck down Montana's 1994 campaign contribution limits as being unconstitutional, the Commissioner of Political Practices re-instituted the limits that were in place pre-1994.

U.S. District Judge Charles Lovell has struck down Montana's campaign spending limits as being a violation of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
