The longstanding tradition of "smack talk" before the big Brawl of the Wild game. A time when Montanans from border to border pick what side they are on and commence heckling the opposing team.

After a long campaign to get ESPN's College GameDay in Missoula, the network passed... and Montanans had a strong reaction to the news.

Despite budget cuts that did not allow funding for the UM Grizzly Marching Band to travel to Bozeman for the annual Brawl of the Wild, private funds came through to send the band to the game.

The Montana Legislature will have to deal with a shrinking state surplus as both houses will be dominated by Republicans.

It's not just extra MHP troopers that are being called in this weekend...

The Montana Highway Patrol is well aware of the major sporting event taking place this Saturday in Bozeman.
