Blackfeet Water Compact

$471 million Blackfeet Water Rights settlement signed yesterday by Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and Blackfeet leaders.

A Missoula man in custody for assault has also been charged with sexual intercourse without consent.

After languishing for over 30 years, the Blackfeet Tribal Water Compact finally passed through the U.S. House of Representatives, and will now head back to the Senate.
