The City of Whitefish is getting a professional baseball team. The team will be called the Glacier Grizzlies and will be part of the Mount Rainier Professional Baseball League (MRPBL).
The Pioneer League Missoula Osprey start their season on the road in Helena on June 16, then inside Ogren Park at Allegiance Field in Missoula on June 19.
Update 3:10 p.m. (EST): MLB has released an official statement confirming the suspensions of the players listed below. As for Alex Rodriguez, he will be suspended for 211 games, a period starting Thursday, August 8, and extending through the remainder of this season, the 2013 postseason and the full 2014 regular season.
