University of Montana Relations reports that the brains of healthy children respond to long-term air pollution exposure with symptoms like those of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.

As of 10 am Monday, a Stage One Alert is in effect in Missoula.

The University of Montana's Center for Environmental Health Sciences just received a grant of $1.25 million dollars from the National Institutes of Health to support environmental health education for thousands of middle and high school students in Montana, Idaho and Alaska.
