2020 Census

The 2020 U.S. Census made history for Montana, in that the state increased its population to the point that a second Congressional district could be restored after being lost over 30 years ago.

Having the largest single U.S. House District in the country with over a million people, the 2020 Census enabled Montana to double its representation in the House of Representatives from one to two.

The State of Montana Complete Count Committee is asking all kinds of businesses, organizations and community centers to volunteer their locations to be a ‘Be Counted’ site for the upcoming 2020 Census
