Missoula Driver Flips Car on City Streets, Charged With DUI
Missoula Police responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover crash right in the middle of town this morning, October 14.
“About 1:18 this morning, a Missoula police officer responded to the report of a rollover accident involving a single vehicle near the intersection of Stephens and Florence," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "An officer arrived and found the driver of the vehicle an adult female, out on the sidewalk with witnesses. She did suffer minor injuries to the face and was transported to the hospital for treatment.”
Police report that alcohol was involved in the crash.
“The driver of the vehicle is identified as 33-year-old Kristin Durfey of Missoula," Welsh said. "What I know right now is that she remained at the hospital and may need to be kept overnight. She was charged with DUI and reckless driving.”
High speeds and a quick turn were likely needed to give the car enough centrifugal force to flip.
