You've got me ringing Hells Bells! My temperature's high... Hells Bells! I'll give you black sensations up and down your spine...

My dad is a huge AC/DC fan. Thanks to my old man, I grew up listening to some of the best AC/DC hits. Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, and my all-time favorite Hells Bells. When that guitar kicks in my blood starts pumping. Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Trevor Hoffman knew this and made it his entrance song 601 career saves.

If that doesn't get you amped you better check your pulse because you might be dead.

An AC/DC cover or tribute band is difficult to pull off. Lead singers Bon Scott or Brian Johnson's voices are unique and seemingly impossible to emulate. Plus, you have the aura of Angus Young on guitar to replicate and that's not an easy task.

(P.S., how is Angus Young still performing?)

But tribute band Helles Belles announced they're performing in Missoula next year, so I had to look these ladies up and let me tell you.... they are BADASS.

The all-female AC/DC cover band consists of Simona Bressi on the drums, Adrian Conner on lead guitar, Aisha Elmehdaoui and Jess Coram on rhythm guitar, Nicole Ridge on bass guitar and Lauren Piston as lead vocals. They're all great but I have to highlight Piston who has that scratchy, high-pitched voice that feels like a great rendition of the mega rock band. Plus, Adrian Conner has a serious swagger on stage in her Angus Young-inspired schoolgirl skirt.

I fell down a rabbit hole watching videos of these chicks performing and you bet I circled the date: Sunday, February 2, 2025. The Helles Belles will perform live in Missoula at The Wilma Theater and you better believe it's going to ROCK.
