Play ball!

The Voice of the Griz, Riley Corcoran, will rank his favorite MLB ballparks over the next few weeks on The Daily Drive with Ace Sauerwein.

This ranking is far from half-assed, by the way. Corcoran put in a lot of work, breaking it down by subcategories.

  • Ballpark location
  • Ballpark's food and drink
  • Ballpark's atmosphere
  • Ballpark's character (History, big events)

Corcoran gave each stadium a score within a subcategory and added them up for a cumulative score.

Here's his thorough ranking of 27 of the 30 ballparks in Major League Baseball.

He hasn't visited 3 ballparks, so they'll go in as "Not ranked."

#27 Oakland Coliseum (14/50)

Home of the Oakland A's (Sort of). Corcoran's worst stadium he's visited.

#26 Rate Field (18/50)

Home of the Chicago White Sox. Corcoran's 2nd-worst ballpark. Fun fact, Rate Field has had more name changes than the White Sox have had playoff series in the last 10 years.

#25 Angels Stadium (21/50)

#25 Angels Stadium (21/50)

Home of the Los Angeles Angels. Corcoran ranks it #25, thanks in large part to its proximity to Disneyland

#24 Chase Field (

#24 Chase Field (23/50)

Home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. A cool downtown location, but nothing else is going on, says Corcoran.

#23 Progressive Field (25/50)

#23 Progressive Field (25/50)

Home of the Cleveland Guardians. Another "mehh" location says Corcoran.

#22 Nationals Park (25.5/50)

#22 Nationals Park (25.5/50)

Home of the Washington Nationals. Corcoran's best quality at Nats Park is that it's newer, and you can see the Mall. A big minus on driving to and parking around.

#21 Globe Life Park (26/50)

#21 Globe Life Park (26/50)

Home of the Texas Rangers. Corcoran puts an * next to it as he visited during a COVID-era World Series game in an odd atmosphere.
