If you are a Griz fan still basking in the glow of that last playoff win in Missoula, you are going to love this.

A TikToker named @smoresnipez just dropped the coldest replay in the history of Montana football on the internet. With the new College Football 25 game by EA Sports, he reenacted the heart-stopping final moments of the 2023 FCS Championship that took place between North Dakota State and Montana State.

And, yup, the field goal block is in there. Brutal. Heartbreaking. Chef’s kiss.

In case you have blocked it out (or, more likely, watched it again 12 times with popcorn), the Bobcats were seconds from tying the game and sending it into overtime. Instead, NDSU blew through the line, blocked it, and ran over MSU’s hopes for a title.

The video absolutely nails the setup: MSU trotting out for the kick, the snap… and then history repeats itself. Digitally. With commentary. And the best part? The comments are what Griz fans dream of. Even the look on the Cat Fans' faces shows the moment their hearts split into 2 pieces.

We’ve seen Madden recreations before. But this one hits different, possibly because the pain is so raw in Bozeman. Or maybe it is because we all could use a little pick-me-up after another long offseason. Whether you are a Griz fan, Cat fan or NDSU fan.

Either way, shoutout to the gamer vigilante who went through the trouble to immortalize MSU’s misery in pixel form. I can watch it again and again.
