GOP Legislators Receive Racist Newsletter [AUDIO]

Republican state legislator Champ Edmunds called me Friday morning to tell me about an unsolicited newsletter he and other Republican politicians received from a hate group wanting to carve out a territory in the Northwest United States for their own homeland. That interview is attached.

Edmunds says a Democrat running for Congress, Kim Gillan, attempts to tie Montana Republican legislators to the hate group. Edmunds flatly refutes the implication, and says Gillan is using the unsolicited newsletter for political gain.
