Missoula County Sheriff's Deputies chased down a driver headed the wrong way on I-90 early Monday morning.

UPDATE....55 year-old Thomas Phillip Mentzer of Idaho appeared in justice court Monday on a charge of felony criminal endangerment and aggravated DUI. Judge karen Orzech set bail at $5,000.

Sergeant Jeremiah Peterson says 9-1-1 first started receiving calls at about 2 a.m. Monday reporting a driver headed west in the eastbound lane at about mile marker 104.

Peterson says deputies drove a parallel course on I-90 and eventually were able to flag the driver down. The man in his 40's was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and could also face charges of criminal endangerment for putting other drivers at risk.

The suspect was taken to the Missoula County jail, and will make an appearance in justice court.
