Woman Killed in Crash at Billings Roundabout

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Police in Billings say a woman in her 50s was killed and a man injured in a head-on crash at a city roundabout.

Sgt. Matt Brewer tells The Billings Gazette a sport utility vehicle entered the roundabout in the wrong direction Monday morning and collided head-on with a van. The SUV came to rest on its top.

The woman driving the van was killed while the man was taken to a Billings hospital.

Brewer says the man, who is in his 70s, may have suffered from a medical condition before entering the roundabout.
