Missoula Police responded to a call for help early Thursday morning, March 16 after two family members reported that they had been assaulted.

"Just before 3:00 a.m. officers were called to a residence in the 1800 block of Reserve Street for the report of a disturbance, when they arrived they found two adults and a juvenile who apparently had engaged in a physical confrontation, said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "One of the adults and the juvenile suffered minor injuries as a result and the other adult was taken into custody for Partner or Family Member Assault."

According to Welsh, minor injuries from scratching and hair pulling were reported by the victims, but the suspect has been convicted of similar charges before.

"She is identified as Dana Millhouse, 52 years of age, it appears that she has prior convictions that make this one a felony," Welsh said.

Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the incident, but it does appear that Millhouse had been drinking before the assault.
