HELENA, Mont. (AP) — The Montana Highway Patrol says a Helena woman charged with negligent vehicular homicide for a December crash was driving a car involved in a rollover on Interstate 15 near Helena.

The Independent Record reports 30-year-old Brandy Dullum and her passenger, 25-year-old Zachary David Cottrill, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses say Dullum was southbound at a high rate of speed Wednesday afternoon when she struck the rear of a southbound truck while trying to pass. The car rolled several times and ended up in its roof in the median.

Dullum is charged with driving drunk in a December crash that killed passenger Devon Richetti.

Authorities say Dullum was not violating the law by driving. Trooper Ben Havron says there were no signs of alcohol being a factor in Wednesday's crash.
