A 35-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly running one vehicle off the road and crashing into another on U.S. Highway 93 southwest of Missoula.

Kristina Diane Walters remained jailed Wednesday on a DUI charge and three counts of felony criminal endangerment.

Her bail was set at $50,000.

Walters, of Missoula, is accused of nearly crashing her pickup truck into another vehicle north of Lolo on Tuesday night before ramming into another car and leaving the scene. No one was seriously injured.

Authorities say she failed field sobriety tests and acknowledged taking several medications that cause drowsiness and carry warnings not to mix them with alcohol.

But Walters provided a breath sample of 0.055 percent blood alcohol content, which is below the legal driving limit of 0.08 percent in Montana.
