More snow is headed for the state, particularly western Montana. So, how much can the state expect and when?

Widespread snow is said to develop Sunday and could be moderate to heavy at times especially across west-central Montana, according to the National Weather Service.

Some locations may see a transition to freezing rain including the I-90 corridor east of Lookout Pass through Missoula and into Drummond as well as the Bitterroot Valley.

The National Weather Service said another period of moderate to perhaps heavy snow is also possible later Monday into Tuesday across western Montana.
