Come and check us out this Saturday for the first ever Missoula Shriners Walkathon. As you know, there is no longer a circus, so the local Shriners are coming up with new ways to raise money to help children in need.

You can walk, run, jog, wheel, crutch or casually stroll with friends to raise money to help provide free health care to Montana children. Get pledges this week, or just show up to participate. We'll be at the Fort Missoula pavilion this Saturday, June 9th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You can pick up pledge sheets at our offices, 3250 South Reserve, and all skill levels are welcome! You can start and stop the walk whenever you want and however you feel comfortable. For more info, please hit up our dear friend Ryan Pillsbury at 546-8026 or wmswalk4kids@yahoo.com

I will be there for a live broadcast from 1 to 5 p.m. Stop by for t-shirts and to enter to win Halestorm tickets or a brand new Bosch dishwasher from the good folks at Fred's Appliance! Simply throw your entry in the box and I'll call you if you win. Plus, there will be a BBQ for participants along with Baskin Robbins ice cream and fun for the kids. See you Saturday!
