Wife Charged In Fatal Shooting At Helena Apartment

Helena police say a 48-year-old woman killed her husband and another woman in an early morning shooting at an apartment building.

Police Chief Troy McGee says Michelle Coller Gable has been charged with two counts of deliberate homicide.

Police received a call reporting the shooting shortly after 6 a.m. after neighbors heard gunshots.

A man died at the hospital and officers found another woman dead inside the apartment.

Gable has been treated and released from a hospital for an injury that McGee did not disclose.

McGee says the man was Gable's 48-year-old husband and the dead woman was 50.

He did not release the name of either victim nor did he have any details on what caused the shooting.
