We have no polls to show us who is running ahead with voters hearts in the Republican race to be Montana's next governor. Traditional wisdom would give the nod to the man who has raised the most money (Rick Hill) or who's name is most recognizable (again, probably Hill). From my conversations with people, however, I sense great dissatisfaction with the "likely" pick. I have no idea if what I am hearing is broad opinion or simply the opinion of a few strong voices ( I work on an opinion Talk Radio show after all). The large number of primary runners makes the issue even harder to diagnose. Add to that, the inherent difficulty of diagnosing an election in a large state like Montana and all bets are off. So, I'm hoping you can give me a better idea of who's in the lead by answering one question.
