The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning, effective Thursday, August 2, from noon until at least 10:00 p.m.

A dry cold front will bring increasing west winds and extremely low humidity tomorrow afternoon and evening. Western Montana is expecting sustained winds near 20 miles per hours, gusting into the 30s in some areas at times.

Many of the region's fire zones from Glacier Park to Hamilton and beyond could be affected. With as much carelessness as we've seen with abandoned human-caused fires in the last couple weeks, here's hoping everybody will do their part, as well as keep an eye on the stupid ones who won't.  We've been pretty lucky so far this summer, but we ain't home yet!
