A local tattoo shop has been busy with people getting semicolon tattoos for Suicide Prevention Week that will help with awareness for suicide and mental health.

American Made has been doing the tattoos today for $20 - but with a suggested donation of $50.  They're hoping to raise $6,000 for the day.

The semicolon is a symbol for the continuation of a person's story.  All the proceeds from those getting inked will go to the Missoula Life Maintenance Center - a local organization that helps those with behavior health issues.

You can take part, get some ink and make a donation until 8pm (Wednesday night) at American Made Tattoo in Missoula.
