Ballots for the Ward Two City Council Primary election are due no later than 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15.

Elections Administrator Rebecca Connors said on Friday that near 4,700 ballots were sent out in August.

"We've received close to 1,300 ballots back so far," Connors said. "We're inching close to between 24 and 25 percent, which is close to where the turnout in 2007 for our municipal primary."

The deadline for voters to submit their ballot is Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. Before Election Day, voters may return their ballot by mail or in person by visiting the Missoula County Courthouse or the Elections Center at the Missoula County Fairgrounds.

On Election Day, the following ballot drop locations are available: Hellgate Elementary,Lowell School, Missoula County Courthouse, and the Elections Center.

Same day voter registration and ballot deposit locations are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
