A vehicle plowed into a man near Wagner’s Home Furnishings on South West Higgins Today, April 28. Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh gave this report shortly after the incident.

"About 1:03 p.m. this afternoon, Missoula Police and EMS were dispatched to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at the intersection of Stephens and South West Higgins," Welsh reported. "We were told that there was a man down, having been struck by the car, it sounds like any injury he has is not life threatening."

It is believed that the man was taken to a hospital for a check-up after the accident. Police were still trying to diagnose the cause of the crash as of 3:00 p.m. yesterday.

Photos from an NBC Montana Report on the same story show a damaged retaining wall in a parking lot near the incident that appears to be caused by the same vehicle.
