Valley Smoke Returns

Smoke moved back in to the Missoula Valley late Sunday and pretty much covered it all by Monday. This newest influx is coming from three fires totaling 66-thousand acres burning on the Clearwater Forest just over Lolo Pass in Idaho. The fire is 45 miles SW of Lolo and has burned close to Hwy 12 in some spots. Incident commanders say there’s not a lot of potential for growth but it will take fall rains to put it out completely.
