Students at the University of Montana are still learning to cope with the tragic loss of two students over the weekend. Director of the Counseling Service at Curry Health Center, Mike Frost has been busy helping students deal with grief.

"We've made some arrangements with some of the student groups here on campus," said Director of the Counseling Service at Curry Health Center, Mike Frost. "A real natural response, I think, to bereavement is that small communities get together and support one another and we are hoping to coordinate that with some of the communities in which these particular students were involved."

Frost says there are many ways for students to access free or low cost help.

"In our clinic, when people come in for ongoing counseling, the first session, there is no charge for that, and then each following session is $10 a session after that," said Frost. "For bereavement groups, there are no charge, we are working with groups that the students were involved with. We are working with athletics, and, one of the students was involved in a fraternity, so we are working closely with the fraternity community as well."

On top of the group counseling, a temporary counselor was installed in Craig Hall for students to dialogue with. Craig Hall is where the body of one of the students was found on Sunday afternoon.
