The ongoing investigation into sexual assaults at the University of Montana involves more than just victims and alleged assaulters. It also involves federal and state privacy issues when students are involved. I spoke with UM Dean of Students Charles Couture on Thursday afternoon about the issue. That interview is attached.

Couture says even though three individuals have been expelled from the campus, there was insufficient evidence for Missoula Police to move forward with a criminal case.
