UM Says Skydivers Approved For Saturday [AUDIO]

After last Saturday’s accident involving Silvertip skydiver Blaine Wright, questions arose about continuing the skydiving tradition at home football games. After consulting with other officials and the Silvertip Skydiving Club, University of Montana Athletic Director Jim O’day says the decision has been made to allow the skydivers to jump on Saturday. O’Day says Blaine Wright is responding well to treatment in Seattle, and can’t wait to get back to what he loves best, skydiving into Washington grizzly stadium. The Silvertip skydivers will jump Saturday, conditions permitting.
