Former Grizzly defensive end has been named to the the FCS Athletic Directors Academic All-Star Team.   Bobby Ault was one of 58 student athletes from The Football Championship Sub-Division selected for the honor.  Ault transferred to Montana after 1 semester at MT SAC Junior College.  Ault graduated this past month w/ a degree in Sociology.  He held a 3.92 GPA.  Ault is from Ontario California. 

Ault started in all 14 games on defense. Last season and led the Big Sky Conference in scoring defense averaging 19.9 Points per game and total defense w/ 327.1 yards per game.   He tied for eighth on the team with 52 tackles and finished in the top three in both sacks (4.5) and tackles for loss (10.0). Alt was named honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference.   Ault played in 39 games over his 3 year career at U of M.  He finished with 111 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. 

Ault was named a Capitol One Academic All-American in December.  Only 9 of the 58 players named to The FCS ADA All-Star Team had GPA’s better than Ault’s 3.92.
