Two Bodies Found in Car in Billings Irrigation Ditch

Two women have been removed from a car found submerged in an irrigation ditch.

Sgt. Shane Winden says a city parks department employee saw the vehicle on its top in the ditch Friday morning. Firefighters used an engine to pull the vehicle out of the water, and officers spotted a body.

Officials say the victims are local women in their 30s.

Lt. Mark Cady says no foul play was suspected. He says the car appeared to have been in the water for a while.
