Update – Armed Robbery Suspect Appears in Court [AUDIO]

22 year-old Corey Schrekendgust was arrested Wednesday and charged with robbing one convenience store and two casinos early Tuesday morning in Missoula.

Deputy Missoula County Attorney Jason Marks says Screckendgust was apprehended after someone tipped authorities as to his identity. Court records indicate that when Missoula police detctives confronted Schreckendgust, he confessed to the armed robbery of all three locations so that he could obtain money to purchase drugs.
Schreckendgust is charged with three counts of armed robbery and tampering with evidence. He will make an initial appearance in Missoula justice court at 2:30 Thursday afternoon. Marks says he will ask for bail of $100,000.
Marks says no one was injured in the robberies.
