Many of these shots were taken on Wednesday afternoon. I spoke with Tower residents Doug and Renee Touchette who live at 215 Tower Street. Renee Touchette says the flooding this year is worse than in 1997 and he says she didn't think it would reach this far inland. Doug Touchette told me the backyard started to flood on Tuesday afternoon and they then started sand bagging, getting ready for more water to make its way up the street. The Touchettes told me part of the reason for the large amounts of water is due to the dyke being out.

The photos on Nancy Lou Drive, a block from Tower Street were taken by Chanel Efta.
