Three Montana Wrestlers Qualify for Olympic Trials

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Three Montana wrestlers have qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team trials being held this weekend in Iowa City, Iowa.

The Billings Gazette reports Tyrel Todd of Bozeman and Mike Zadick of Great Falls have qualified in freestyle wrestling while Toby Erickson of East Helena will compete in Greco-Roman.

Todd, a three-time All-American at Michigan, is competing at 185 pounds. Zadick, a three-time All-American and current assistant coach at Iowa, is competing at 132 pounds.

Erickson has qualified at 264.5 pounds.

He is attending the U.S. Olympic Education Center at Northern Michigan.
