Federal prosecutors say three men have been sentenced for their participation in an online bulletin board to exchange child pornography.

Justice Department officials said Friday that 26-year-old Daniel Brown of Taylor, South Carolina; 48-year-old John Merchberger of Dayton, Maine; and 24-year-old Marc Edoria of Elk Grove, California, were sentenced this week in a Montana federal court.

Brown and Edoria each received 15 years in prison, while Merchberger was sentenced to more than 18 years.

All three men had previously pleaded guilty to child pornography charges. Prosecutors say the three posted notices and advertisements of child pornography on the board, and pictures of children being sexually abused.

Merchberger also assisted in running the board at times.
