Over two thousand men women and kids took part in the Insane Inflatables 5k run on the UM campus on Saturday.

The event, promoted by Townsquare media, and sponsored by Karl Tyler Chevrolet and Karl Tyler Missoula Volkswagen  had been in the planning stages for several months, and all the hard work and planning came to fruition Saturday.

There were teams from several businesses and community groups who participated in costume as part of the fun.

Insane Inflatables chose Big Brothers - Big Sisters as the charity to benefit from the event. The organization will receive $5 from every registration.

Also participating was former Grizzly tight end JaTon Simpson, whose 6'5" and 230 pound frame got a real workout on the gigantic six-story finishing slide.

The radio stations of Townsquare were all represented, with Angel of 96.3 the Blaze, America's Tallest DJ, Aaron Traylor with 107.5 Zoo-FM, Billy and Charene of KYSS-FM and Jon King with Newstalk KGVO.
