Third Street Construction Meeting on Wednesday Evening [AUDIO]

The City of Missoula will hold an informational public meeting Wednesday evening at 6 pm at the Orchard Homes Country Life Club about the improvements planned for South Third Street West between Russell and Reserve Streets.
City engineer Kevin Slovarp says the project will include a two-way center turn lane, bicycle lanes, curbs and gutters and a new roadway surface. Slovarp says the project won’t begin until the spring of 2013, and will be coordinated with plans from the State of Montana and the Federal Highway Administration for the area. During the meeting, visitors will see a model of the project, view a power-point presentation, and make comments about the project to city officials.
