The Second Presidential Debate in Review

The second presidential debate of 2012 is in the can and it will go down in history for being one of the feistiest presidential debates of all time. Mitt Romney and President Obama were at each others throats (figuratively) circling each other in the ring (literally) throughout the debate. To see just how boisterous the debate was, simply watch the following clip in which moderator Candy Crowley attempts to herd the candidates through the topics at one point stepping into the debate herself.

The Libya moment in which Crowley sided with Barack Obama will stick in most people’s minds. After the debate, Crowley backtracked slightly from her statement, saying that Romney “was right in the main, I just think he picked the wrong word.”

One of the memes that picked up steam even before the debate had finished was Romney’s “binders full of women” comment.

To see all of the zaniness the internet has come up with to flesh out the “binders full of women” go here.

Of course, votes are what the candidates really want. Tell us what you think!
