The Greater Yellowstone Coalition was among the 9 conservation groups that have reached a settlement with the Department of Interior regarding wolf recovery and management in the Northern Rockies. If approved by the court, the agreement would remove endangered species act protections for gray wolves in Idaho and Montana. It would also return management authority to those states. Director of the greater Yellowstone Coalition, Mike Clark says this agreement is good for all parties involved.

Clark says the settlement offers a workable solution to the increasingly polarized debate over wolves.
