The Annual Nationwide Doodle 4 Google contest has announced their winners from each state. This is a contest where children from all over the country can participate and show their creative visions of the future. Google Spokesperson Charlotte Smith explains who they chose to represent Montana.

“We are so proud to announce that Montana’s winner is Lyssah Kromrey and she is a 7th grader from Alberton School,” said Smith. “Her doodle was fantastic. Her doodle was called space journey and it showed an interstellar landscape with special outer space themed accents. She is definitely one of those student show reaches for the stars.”

Now that all of the state winners have been revealed, the next step is to crown a national winner. According to Smith, the national winner will receive multiple different prizes.

“The grand prizes are really great,” Smith said. “The national winner, in addition to having their doodle on google.com that day, will take home a $30,000 college scholarship. His or her school will receive a $50,000 Google for education award. That is to help establish and improve maybe a computer lab in the school or create a new technology program.”

All of the winning doodles from each state will be on display at google.com/google4doodle. Smith encourages the public to cast their vote for which doodle they like best.
