Tester Says Debit/Credit Card Fee Is A Bad Move

The Bank of America will begin charging a $5 monthly fee starting in 2012 for customers who use the debit cards to make purchases. Senator Jon Tester says it's a wrong move that will harm consumers and that smaller community banks have no such policy.

The $5 fee is only for debit and credit card purchases but will not be assessed if the card is only used for ATM cash withdrawls.
