Senator Jon Tester grilled homeland security experts on ways to better track foreign nationals in the United States. Tester used a senate hearing to highlight security threats posed by failures to monitor those foreign nationals. Tester specifically cited the U.S. visit program, an effort he says has failed to control foreign visitors entering and leaving the country.

Senator Tester told the experts it was not good enough to accept failure. Tester also pushed the officials to quickly deploy military-grade radar to strengthen security along Montana’s northern border.
