FLORENCE, Mont. (AP) — Ravalli County officials say a search warrant is being served on a Florence clinic as part of a two-year investigation into the doctor's prescription-writing practices.

Sheriff Chris Hoffman and County Attorney Bill Fullbright say deputies along with the Missoula High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, the state Division of Criminal Investigation and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration served a search warrant Tuesday morning at Big Creek Family Medicine and Urgent Care in Florence.

District Judge Jim Haynes issued the warrant after a nearly two-year investigation into the prescription writing practices of a physician at the clinic.

No criminal charges have been filed.
