Montana Wildlife Group Sues to Get Bison Info

A Montana wildlife advocacy group is suing the U.S. Department of Agriculture in a bid to force officials to turn over documents related to the management of wild bison from Yellowstone National Park.

Attorneys for the Buffalo Field Campaign say the group has received incomplete information or none at all from six public records requests filed since March 2011 under the federal Freedom of Information Act

FWP Has Wildlife Animal Parts Auction Set For July 30th

Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks will be conducting a wildlife parts auction on Saturday, July 30th at their Missoula office on Spurgin Road. FWP information and education program manager Vivaca Crowser says the doors will open at 9 am for viewing and the auction will start at 10. My interview with Ms. Crowser is attached.
